FOR WINNING THE 2025 DAILY MAIL FOURSOMES

Past County Vets Captain Sue Howell (L) and County Vets Champion Rosie Waller (R)

Congratulations to Kendal Golf Club members Rosie Waller and Sue Howell who on Monday
29^th and Tuesday 30^th September, won the Daily Mail foursomes at St. Pierre, Chepstow.

Rosie is the vets 2025 county champion and a regular member of the vets county team and Sue was Vets Captain in 2011.

The competition is the largest amateur golf tournament in the UK with over 2,500 ladies teams entering.

The format consists of winning your own club competition and then playing 7 knockout rounds to get to the final, where there is a contest between 16 teams to find the eventual winner.

Rosie and Sue beat Turnhouse from Scotland in the last 16, then ‘The Worcestershire’ in the quarter finals, followed by Rudding Park in the semi finals and then in a closely contested final, they beat Taunton and Pickeridge.

Well done to both of you!!
