SILVER  RESULTS 2023

Appleby Golf club played excellent hosts to the senior county ladies golf championship. The 3 day event witnessed the weather that Appleby can drum up to make the competition even more of a challenge.

The silver division played their qualifying round on Monday in very cold northerly winds with very fast, tricky but true greens. The scores were a reflection of how hard the day was.

16 qualifiers played matches on the Tuesday on a bright sunny day, but still cold.

The Bronze ladies played there championships on Wednesday which proved the best of the week with light winds and warmer. The silver ladies playing the semi finals and finals also on the Wednesday

Congratulations to Brenda Ewbank(Appleby) who is now our County Champion with an excellent display of golf.

Congratulations to all the winners in both divisions and a special mention to all who took part to make it a wonderful week of competition.            Janette Vets Lady Captain
